A coordinated project between two institutions, the School of Form in Poznan, Poland and the Royal College of Art in London, UK, carried out under the auspices of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and is leaded by Marek Cecula, renowned artist, designer and educator.
The project is an extension of design education, giving students a real condition to create utilitarian ceramic product in a production facilities.
The intention is to work with the porcelain manufacturer Cmielow and allow the
execution of the project by students in the industrial environment.
The project not only allows professional experience in working with the industry but
also opens a way for further development of cooperation between young
designers and ceramic industry in Poland.
An important element of the project is the cultural integration and exchange of views and experiences
through interaction within jointly executed project.
The Art Food project is open to the design students from RCA and SoF exclusively and there are 6 spots available for each school.
